El agua quedaba atrapada en las calles del centro de Cartagena dejando un centenar de coches apenas visibles. En solo cuatro horas se acumularon cien litros por metro cuadrado. Si asà de anegada estaba la superficie, al adentrarnos en el subsuelo encontramos garajes que también se han convertido en refugio para el agua. La tormenta se colaba en este hospital donde resultaba imposible contener las goteras y en el almacén del centro cultural se encontraban con obras flotantes. Era de madrugada cuando la lluvia llegaba a la ciudad, jarreando de manera tan copiosa que provocaba desbordamientos en ramblas como la de Garruchal. La de Benipila reunÃa en solo una hora más de setenta litros por metro cuadrado y algún vehÃculo quedaba atravesado en mitad del torrente. Con la alerta ya desactivada ahora solo queda enderezar los daños del temporal. (Atlas)
