El Observatorio contra la Violencia Doméstica y de Género ha hecho públicas hoy las cifras trimestrales. Como se publica, los principales indicadores de la violencia de género experimentaron en el primer trimestre de 2023 un nuevo incremento, no sólo respecto del mismo trimestre de 2022 sino también en relación con los últimos tres meses de ese mismo año. El número de mujeres vÃctimas de la violencia machista entre enero y marzo de 2023 fue de 45.154, un 11,54 % más que hace un año y un 4 % más que entre octubre y diciembre de 2022; el número de denuncias ascendió hasta las 46.327, un 10,92 % más que en el mismo trimestre de 2022 y un 2,7 % más que en los tres últimos meses de ese año. El número total de sentencias dictadas por los órganos judiciales ascendió a 14.886, de las que el 79,56 por ciento, es decir, ocho de cada diez, fueron condenatorias. (Fuente: EBS /CGPJ)

The Observatory against Domestic and Gender Violence has released the quarterly figures today. As published, the main indicators of gender violence experienced a new increase in the first quarter of 2023, not only compared to the same quarter of 2022 but also in relation to the last three months of that same year. The number of women victims of sexist violence between January and March 2023 was 45,154, 11.54% more than a year ago and 4% more than between October and December 2022; the number of complaints rose to 46,327, 10.92% more than in the same quarter of 2022 and 2.7% more than in the last three months of that year.
