Francisco Javier García Gaztelu, Txapote, fue sentenciado a más de 500 años de cárcel. Su hermana Consuelo, como otros familiares de víctimas, algunas también asesinadas por Txapote, no quiere escuchar más este eslogan empleado contra Pedro Sánchez y cada vez más extendido. En su opinión, «es cruel con las víctimas de ETA y una banalización del terrorismo con fines partidistas». En el lado opuesto está la popular Marimar Blanco. Txapote asesinó a su hermano Miguel Ángel hace 26 años de la forma más cruel. Su secuestro y asesinato conmocionó a España.Marimar Blanco es una del centenar de víctimas que ha firmado un manifiesto respaldando la utilización del eslogan. En el escrito, arremeten contra el presidente Pedro Sánchez y acusan a las otras víctimas de intentar monopolizar al colectivo.
