Endesa, empresa suministradora de electricidad en La Gomera, ha informado de que se ha recuperado el 70 por ciento del suministro en la isla tras entrar en operación tres grupos de la Central Eléctrica de El Palmar. La compañía ha indicado que junto con la treintena de grupos electrógenos ya conectados, los cuales han sido traídos de otras islas del archipiélago, ha permitido la reposición del servicio a 10.500 clientes de los 12.731 afectados. Por otra parte, el Ministerio de Defensa ha enviado a primera hora de este martes a La Gomera dos grupos electrógenos, uno de 140 kW y otro de 135 kW para ayudar con la emergencia por el cero energético que afecta a la isla.
