Así se lo ha comunicado este martes por la tarde el monarca Zarzuela a la presidenta del Congreso, Francina Armengol, a la que ha convocado en Zarzuela para trasladarle su decisión. Por primera vez, el Jefe del Estado se ha enfrentado a la situación inédita de tener dos aspirantes a ser nominados: Alberto Núñez Feijóo, que ganó los comicios del 23 de julio y que cuenta con el apoyo comprometido de 172 diputados de cuatro partidos (PP, Vox, CC y UPN), y el socialista Pedro Sánchez, quien se ve capaz de tejer alianzas para lograr una mayoría absoluta como la que le permitió controlar la Mesa del Congreso hace una semana.
