🔴Noticia – Gigantes tecnológicos ponen coto al contenido ilegal y la desinformación en la UE

Gigantes como Google o Meta deberán poner coto al contenido ilegal y la desinformación en la UE desde este viernes. La Ley de Servicios Digitales (DSA) será legalmente aplicable desde este 25 de agosto, para las 19 plataformas y motores de búsqueda con más de 45 millones de usuarios en la Unión Europea -equivalente a un 10% de la población de Europa–, tales como Google, Meta, X o TikTok, entre otros, lo que implica que deberán cumplir con las disposiciones más estrictas de la normativa, que obliga a tomar medidas contra contenidos ilegales difundidos en Internet y a poner coto a la desinformación online. Giants like Google or Meta must put a stop to illegal content and disinformation in the EU from this Friday. The Digital Services Law (DSA) will be legally applicable from this August 25, for the 19 platforms and search engines with more than 45 million users in the European Union -equivalent to 10% of the population of Europe–, such as Google, Meta, X or TikTok, among others, which implies that they must comply with the strictest provisions of the regulations, which oblige them to take measures against illegal content disseminated on the Internet and to curb online disinformation.
