El independentismo llega a la Diada del 11 de septiembre de este lunes con la amnistía en centro del debate y como condición para una hipotética investidura del candidato socialista y presidente en funciones, Pedro Sánchez, tras unos resultados electorales que dieron a ERC y a Junts la llave para facilitar un gobierno de PSOE y Sumar. La Diada de este año ha arrancado con la tradicional ofrenda al monumento de Rafael Casanova en Barcelona, en la que han participado partidos e instituciones. En este sentido, la consellera de la Presidencia de la Generalitat, Laura Vilagrà, ha avisado de que la amnistía es el «punto de partida y no el punto de final» en las negociaciones para la investidura de Pedro Sánchez. Por su lado, el alcalde de Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, ha señalado este lunes que los valores que debe representar Barcelona son «los que tienen a ver con la convivencia, el diálogo, la diversidad y la prosperidad. También el líder del PSC, Salvador Illa, ha afirmado este lunes que la Diada es «una ocasión para reafirmar la voluntad de ser y de convivir de los catalanes» y ha añadido que Catalunya tiene un futuro lleno de oportunidades. La líder de los comuns en el Parlament, Jéssica Albiach, ha considerado que esta Diada Nacional de Catalunya es un «punto de inflexión para un nuevo principio de Catalunya».
