La secretaria de Estado de Igualdad, Ángela Rodríguez, ha alertado de que España vive en estos momentos una «situación de emergencia» por la violencia machista, siendo septiembre de 2023 «uno de los peores meses desde que existen recuentos», y ha pedido «abandonar el negacionismo» y «romper con el silencio cómplice’. Así lo ha subrayado la secretaria de Estado, este miércoles en la rueda de prensa posterior a la reunión del comité de crisis, en el que han analizado junto a las comunidades autónomas los 10 asesinatos machistas registrados en septiembre. Rodríguez ha afirmado que septiembre de 2023 «es uno de los peores meses desde que existen recuentos» en España. «Sin paliativos, este ha sido uno de los peores meses para la violencia machista en nuestro país», ha remarcado.
