El Ayuntamiento de Barcelona ha inaugurado la mañana de este sábado el primero de los cinco semáforos que tendrá la ciudad en honor al creador de los tebeos de Mortadelo y Filemón, Francisco Ibáñez. El primero de todos se ha colocado en el cruce entre la calle Concilio de Trento y Treball, en el barrio de Sant Martà de Barcelona. Se ha elegido este lugar por su proximidad a la nueva biblioteca Gabriel Garcia Márquez, que también posee un rincón dedicado al creador. La hija del historietista, Nuria Ibáñez, ha asegurado que su padre «estarÃa encantado» de esta idea.

This Saturday morning, Barcelona City Council inaugurated the first of the five traffic lights that the city will have in honor of the creator of the Mortadelo and Filemón comics, Francisco Ibáñez. The first of all has been placed at the intersection between Concilio de Trento and Treball streets, in the Sant Martà neighborhood of Barcelona.
