La firma de hipotecas sobre viviendas cayó un 22,7 % interanual en agosto, para encadenar así seis meses de caídas de más de dos dígitos, en paralelo a la rápida subida de los tipos de interés que se aplican a este tipo de préstamos. Según los datos publicados este miércoles por el (INE), en agosto se firmaron concretamente 28.344 hipotecas sobre viviendas, lo que supone un 3 % menos que en julio.
