Más de 400.000 menores sufrieron abusos en el ámbito religioso, según la investigación del Defensor del Pueblo. El informe propone crear un fondo estatal de compensación para las víctimas. Por otra parte, un 0,6% de la población española mayor de 18 años, es decir, unas 236.000 personas.
