Josefa, de 96 años, había salido a dar de comer a los gatos cuando los animales se escaparon, la tiraron al suelo y comenzaron a morderle un brazo. Los vecinos intentaron ayudarla, pero los perros no soltaban a la mujer. Entre los vecinos y los sanitarios consiguieron ahuyentarlos con el baston de la mujer. Josefa murió después de cinco días en el hospital, perdió mucha sangre en el ataque.
