El Pleno del Consejo General del Poder Judicial ha aprobado -con 9 votos a favor, 5 en contra y uno en blanco- una declaración institucional contra la eventual amnistÃa de los delitos cometidos con ocasión del ‘procés’ en Catalunya. El presidente en funciones, Vicente Guilarte, ha expresado que no está de acuerdo con la iniciativa legislativa pero considera conveniente esperar a la tramitación parlamentaria.

The Plenary Session of the General Council of the Judiciary has approved – with 9 votes in favor, 5 against and one blank – an institutional declaration against the possible amnesty for crimes committed during the ‘procés’ in Catalonia. The acting president, Vicente Guilarte, has expressed that he does not agree with the legislative initiative but considers it advisable to wait for the parliamentary process.
