El ex lÃder del PP en Cataluña, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, de 78 años, ha recibido un disparo en la cara en plena calle de Núñez de Balboa, en el barrio de Salamanca de Madrid, muy cerca del portal de su domicilio. Vidal-Quadras se encuentra grave, aunque estable y consciente y ha sido trasladado por el Samur a un hospital. Las autoridades buscan a un motorista como presunto autor del disparo que huyó del lugar con ese vehÃculo.

The former leader of the PP in Catalonia, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, 78, has been shot in the face in the middle of Núñez de Balboa street, in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid, very close to the entrance to his home. Vidal-Quadras is in serious condition, although stable and conscious, and has been transferred by Samur to a hospital.
