El Índice de Precios de Consumo (IPC) aumentó un 0,3% en octubre en relación al mes anterior y mantuvo sin cambios su tasa interanual en el 3,5%, debido a que el encarecimiento de la electricidad y del gas se vio compensado por el abaratamiento de los carburantes y por una subida menos intensa en los precios de los alimentos respecto a la experimentada un año antes, según los datos definitivos publicados este martes por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), que coinciden con los avanzados a finales del mes pasado.
