La actividad sísmica se ha disparado. No se sabe cuándo será, pero sí que será pronto. Tras analizar los gases que salen por los socavones que se han abierto en el suelo, los científicos creen que la lava estaría ya a solo 500 metros de la superficie en el suroeste del país. La localidad de Grindavík fue evacuada hace días, pero antes de irse, sus más de 4.000 habitantes pudieron grabar cómo las grietas parten el suelo en dos.
