Después de 17 días, los 41 trabajadores que habían quedado enterrados dentro de un túnel de India han podido volver a ver la luz. Los servicios de rescate han conseguido rescatarlos, después de que se hundieran las obras donde trabajaban en Uttarajand, en el norte del país. Todos han conseguido salir sanos y salvos a través de una cañería de 90 centímetros de diámetro en el marco de una serie de operaciones de extracción puestas en marcha en la zona.
