Más de 150 mayores de distintas residencias de Vigo han podido visitar la iluminación navideña de la ciudad gracias a una iniciativa organizada por los taxistas de forma altruista. Se trata de una actividad que se hace desde hace seis años. Participan 35 taxis, 140 usuarios y 18 residencias. Son mayores que normalmente, no tienen la opción de salir de la residencia porque o no tienen familia o que, por circunstancias, no tienen quien les lleve.

More than 150 seniors from different residences in Vigo have been able to visit the city’s Christmas lighting thanks to an initiative organized by taxi drivers altruistically. This is an activity that has been carried out for six years. 35 taxis, 140 users and 18 residences participate. They are older than normal, they do not have the option of leaving the residence because either they do not have family or, due to circumstances, they do not have anyone to take them.
