La Comisión Europea desbloque 10.200 millones de euros en fondos regionales a Hungría tras cerciorarse que la reforma judicial aprobada por el Gobierno de Orbán, cumple con los requisitos pactados. A través de un comunicado, la Comisión asegura haber hecho un «análisis profundo» y «varios intercambios» con Hungría, con el objetivo de descongelar parte de los casi 22.000 millones que Budapest tiene asignados dentro de la Política de Cohesión por incumplimientos de la Carta Europea de Derechos Fundamentales.
