Los incendios en Chile han dejado más de 26.000 hectáreas quemadas y más de 15.000 viviendas destruidas. Al menos 123 personas han perdido la vida y más de 300 están desaparecidas. Las autoridades mantienen el toque de queda en Viña del Mar, Quilpué, Villa Alemana y Limache, las cuatro localidades afectadas por el fuego. Cinco días después del inicio de las llamas, todavía siguen activos 40 incendios. Todavía se desconoce el origen de estos incendios, pero todo indica que fueron provocados. Los equipos de bomberos esperan que el descenso de las temperaturas y el aumento de la humedad de los próximos días les ayude a acabar con lo que se ha convertido en la mayor tragedia del país desde 2010

The authorities maintain the curfew in Viña del Mar, Quilpué, Villa Alemana and Limache, the four towns affected by the fire. Five days after the flames started, 40 fires are still active. The origin of these fires is still unknown, but everything indicates that they were caused.
