La Guardia Civil ha detenido a la pareja de una mujer de 44 años cuyo cuerpo fue localizado sin vida en la vivienda que ambos compartían en Alfaz del Pi (Alicante), como presunto autor del crimen. Según los investigadores, el crimen machista se habría producido durante el finde semana, después de que la mujer hubiera acudido al cuartel a denunciarle por malos tratos y finalmente desistiera de hacerlo. El hombre de 52 años, que ha sido detenido en la localidad de Cox, a unos 100 kilómetros de Alfaz del Pi, tiene antecedentes por agredir a una pareja anterior.
