🔴Noticia – Ocho rehenes liberados de un narcosecuestro en el océano Atlántico

La Policía Nacional ha liberado a ocho personas secuestradas mientras realizaban un trasporte marítimo de cocaína. La embarcación llevaba más de dos toneladas de droga. El secuestrador era uno de los tripulantes a bordo que, presuntamente, disparó a otro de sus compañeros y arrojó el cuerpo al mar. En menos de 12 horas las autoridades, un equipo de Vigilancia Aduanera, logró personarse en el punto en el que se encontraban y tras largas negociaciones consiguieron la liberación de los rehenes. Como resultado de la “Operación Neptuno” han sido detenidas nueve personas, se han incautado 2,3 toneladas de cocaína y equipos electrónicos y satelitales. La policía estaba preparando un abordaje tras meses de seguimiento, sabían que se iba a producir un trasvase de droga en un punto cercano a las Islas Canarias, por lo que tenían preparado un equipo para actuar y detener a los traficantes.

The police were preparing a raid after months of monitoring; they knew that a drug transfer was going to take place at a point near the Canary Islands, so they had a team prepared to act and arrest the traffickers.
