La policía india ha detenido a tres hombres y busca a otros cuatro acusados de atacar a los dos turistas y violar en grupo a la mujer, según informaron las autoridades y la pareja. La pareja, que se identificó como Vicente y Fernanda, han declarado en una entrevista en vídeo que los hombres violaron a Fernanda y golpearon repetidamente a Vicente. La pareja dijo que habían acampado cerca del lugar donde fueron atacados porque no encontraban hoteles cercanos.
