El líder del Partido Socialista Catalán, Miquel Iceta, ha señalado que los partidos independentistas «no pueden dar garantías» a ningún Gobierno tras las elecciones generales del 28 de abril, algo que según él se ha podido ver en la última legislatura en el Congreso de los Diputados. Durante la entrevista, preguntado por si los socialistas podrían llegar a un pacto con Ciudadanos, ha recordado que en 2016 Sánchez y Rivera firmaron un acuerdo de investidura, aunque ésta no llegó a producirse. Asegura que sería difícil llegar a un acuerdo ya que, dice, el partido de Albert Rivera «ha mutado”.
