El vicepresidente de la Junta y líder de Ciudadanos en Andalucía, Juan Marín, apuesta por apartar el resultado de las elecciones generales de la actividad del Gobierno andaluz, de coalición con el partido popular. Su formación se ha situado como segunda fuerza política en la comunidad por delante del PP. Marín ha defendido que debe seguir trabajando como ha hecho siempre desde su constitución a finales de enero. El vicepresidente se ha pronunciado de este modo durante una entrevista en la que ha descartado la posibilidad de un acuerdo entre PSOE y la ciudadanos a nivel nacional. El líder andaluz de la formación naranja se ha felicitado por el resultado de su partido en las generales, con 150.000 andaluces más que han confiado en él. Queda como segunda fuerza política en la comunidad con 808.000 votos, 11 diputados en el Congreso y dos senadores.
