Aumentan a 69 los internos de la cárcel de Archidona que han dado positivo en coronavirus. Según ha informado Europa Press, se han realizado 120 pruebas PCR de las que 69 dieron positivo. Todos los internos pertenecen al mismo módulo y todos son asintomáticos o tienen síntomas leves. Desde el Gobierno andaluz han indicado que se están haciendo las pruebas que se van requiriendo para determinar los contagios y que por el momento no está previsto un cribado masivo, aunque tampoco descartan que se haga si es necesario. El brote se localizó en el módulo que alberga a los llamados ‘destinos’ que son personas internas que desempeñan actividades en otras zonas de la prisión. Los sindicatos con representación en el centro han pedido que esas pruebas PCR se hagan también a los funcionarios. Además de este brote, según el sindicato CSIF se ha detectado al menos un caso positivo también en el Centro de Inserción Social (CIS) ‘Evaristo Martín Nieto’ Se trata de un recluso procedente del centro penitenciario Málaga II, y además, hay una interna que permanece en cuarentena ya que era contacto estrecho de esta persona.
