Como a la joven ahora agredida, a Paula desde el principio la maltrató psicológicamente. Al año llegaron las palizas. Los dos eran menores de edad y ella cometió el error de perdonarlo. Hasta que la última paliza hizo que escapara del infierno y cayó en manos de la Policía. La protegieron en un piso de acogida y lo denunció. El maltratador cumplió un año en un centro de menores. Paula lo cuenta escondida lejos de Jerez, porque no le han renovado la orden de alejamiento que la protegía.
