🔴Noticia – Comienzan los trabajos para restaurar la Alcazaba de Almería

La consejera de Cultura de la Junta de Andalucía, Patricia del Pozo, ha visitado este miércoles la Alcazaba de Almería. Y es que, el monumento más emblemático de esta ciudad está a punto de sufrir una gran transformación. La Junta de Andalucía ha destinado más de 640.000 euros para las obras de rehabilitación de la Torre del Homenaje cuyos trabajos está previsto que comiencen el próximo mes de septiembre. Además, la consejera ha anunciado que pronto se licitará el proyecto para restaurar las murallas del cerro de San Cristóbal y la Al-Mudayna. Estas actuaciones cuentan con una inversión de más de 1 millón de euros. A todos estos planes de mejora se unen los trabajos que acaban de terminar y que han permitido restaurar el Muro de la Vela del conjunto andalusí. El Muro de la Vela es uno de los lienzos más representativos de la Alcazaba almeriense. Tiene casi 90 metros de largo y se eleva hasta los 10 metros en las torres Norte y Sur del monumento. A la presentación de estos trabajos también ha acudido el alcalde de la ciudad, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco quien ha agradecido al gobierno andaluz su apuesta por el patrimonio y la historia de Almería.
