Este sábado llegaron a España 89 refugiados sirios afectados por el terremoto de Turquía y Siria. Pues bien, 17 de ellos serán acogidos en Málaga. Forma parte del plan del Gobierno a través del Ministerio de Migraciones en coordinación con Cruz Roja. esta llegada forma parte del Programa Nacional de Reasentamiento de Refugiados 2023 que aprobó el Consejo de Ministros el pasado 21 de febrero y pretende dar respuesta al llamamiento que hizo Naciones Unidas sobre la grave crisis humanitaria que había dejado el desastre en la frontera entre Turquía y Siria, este último, un país ya de por sí gravemente afectado por la guerra civil desencadenada hace años. Este primer grupo de 89 refugiados llegó a la Base Aérea de Torrejón de Ardoz, en Madrid y se repartirán entre 12 provincias españolas, una de ellas, como decimos, Málaga.
