🔴Noticia – Los embalses andaluces, en situación crítica por la sequía

La sequía está poniendo en jaque a los pantanos andaluces. Los embalses están por debajo del 30% de su capacidad media. Esto supone un volumen de agua embalsada de 5.553 hectómetros cúbicos. En una semana hay 17 hectómetros cúbicos menos. Por estas fechas, el año pasado, los embalses estaban un poco más llenos, aunque tampoco 2022 fue un año especialmente lluvioso. Y es que hace muchas semanas que no llueve en Andalucía y eso pone en riesgo el suministro de agua en algunas zonas y, sobre todo, el riego de cultivos. La Confederación Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir es la que está en una situación un poco mejor, con un 39,5% del total de agua embalsada. El resto, Jaén, Granada, Córdoba y Huelva, presentan porcentajes que no llegan al 30%. Ante esta situación, la Junta de Andalucía ha puesto en marcha dos decretos de sequía y está trabajando ya en un tercero que saldrá de manera inminente. Además, se están realizando algunas obras de emergencia por valor de 4.000 millones de euros. Algunas asociaciones de agricultores piden el adelanto del riego para algunos cultivos como el olivar, ya que de no llover, la cosecha será mucho más baja que la de la última campaña, que ya ha sido de por sí, la peor del siglo, y eso, dicen, repercutirá en el encarecimiento del producto.
