El ultraderechista Partido Republicano de Chile ha arrasado en las elecciones del Consejo Constitucional al conseguir 23 miembros de un total de 50 que se encargarán de redactar un nuevo proyecto de Constitución que busca sustituir a la actualmente vigente, aprobada en 1980 al amparo del dictador Augusto Pinochet.
