Un pequeño dolor llevó a Meritxell a Urgencias. Le diagnosticaron un cáncer avanzado de riñón. Hace 16 años se encontró con el oncólogo y el fármaco que cambiarían el mal pronóstico en el Hospital de la Santa Creu y Sant Pau de Barcelona. El Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas estudia ahora el medicamento que la ayudó a sobrevivir. Conocer la rareza que potencia este fármaco para cáncer de riñón ya ha beneficiado a otros pacientes.
