Un equipo de cientÃficos de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia ha logrado todo un hito para la construcción. Gracias a la tecnologÃa que han desarrollado, han podido evitar el colapso total de un edificio en riesgo extremo de derrumbe. La clave de su propuesta consiste en segmentar el edificio mediante fusibles estructurales para que el desplome lo sufra sólo una parte de la construcción. Este avance permitirá levantar inmuebles más seguros en el futuro y salvar vidas en caso de explosiones, terremotos o catástrofes de otra Ãndole.
