Francina Armengol ha sido elegida presidenta del Congreso con 178 votos a favor, por delante de Cuca Gamarra que ha obtenido 137 votos, los de su grupo, UPN y Coalición Canaria. El Grupo Socialista ha conseguido el apoyo de Sumar, Bildu, ERC, PNV, BNG y Junts per Catalunya. Por su parte, Vox ha presentado su propio candidato, el diputado Ignacio Gil Lázaro, ante la falta de acuerdo con el PP.

Francina Armengol has been elected president of the Congress with 178 votes in favour, ahead of Cuca Gamarra who has obtained 137 votes, those of her group, UPN and Coalición Canaria.
