De la mano y acompañados llegan los de Primaria, salvo excepciones. Según la Academia Americana de PediatrÃa, con 10 años ya están preparados para ir solos al colegio. Para la mayorÃa de los padres ese gran paso es asignatura de Secundaria. No se puede establecer una edad de corte porque influyen el entorno y la distancia que hay que recorrer. Para ellos es una gran responsabilidad, y aunque cueste dejarlos, es importante para su desarrollo, sobre todo si van acompañados de compañeros. Los expertos recomiendan hacer antes el trayecto advirtiéndoles de los peligros. Hay que recordarles que no confÃen en desconocidos y que se olviden, al menos durante el camino, del móvil.
