La ultraderecha ha ganado en Países Bajos. Geert Wilders, el líder del Partido de la Libertad, contrario a la inmigración, ha duplicado su resultado de los últimos comicios logrando 37 escaños. Tras ellos, la formación del actual primer ministro, Mark Rutte que, aunque mejora sus resultados, se quedaría con 25 escaños. Su candidato, Frans Timmermans, ya ha asegurado que nunca formarán una coalición «con un partido que excluye a los holandeses».
