La investigación judicial apunta que Tsunami Democrà tic podrÃa haberse financiado mediante el «desvÃo de fondos públicos», bien a través de la adjudicación de contratos bien con la captación de subvenciones, llegando incluso a hablar de «la existencia de una suerte de red clientelar en el seno de la administración catalana», según se recoge en el sumario del caso que se sigue en la Audiencia Nacional (AN), al que ha tenido acceso Europa Press.
