El Índice de Precios de Consumo (IPC) se mantuvo sin cambios en diciembre respecto al mes anterior y recortó una décima su tasa interanual, hasta el 3,1%, debido a que el precio de los alimentos moderó su crecimiento casi dos puntos, hasta el 7,3%, y a que las bebidas alcohólicas y el tabaco suavizaron su avance interanual casi cuatro puntos, hasta el 3,7%.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) remained unchanged in December compared to the previous month and cut its interannual rate by one tenth, to 3.1%, due to the fact that food prices moderated their growth by almost two points, to 7.3%, since alcoholic beverages and tobacco softened their year-on-year growth by almost four points, to 3.7%.
