Español: El candidato de IU-Unidad Popular, Alberto Garzón, ha manifestado este martes su apoyo al manifiesto contra la guerra impulsado por algunos alcaldes y personas del mundo de la cultura y ha rechazado unirse al «preestablecido y electoralista» pacto antiyihadista.
En rueda de prensa, Garzón ha explicado que ha hablado por teléfono durante la última semana con la vicepresidenta del Gobierno, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, sobre las medidas adoptadas tras los atentados de París, pero no han abordado la posibilidad de sumarse al pacto antiyihadista, al que se sumarán este jueves Ciudadanos y UPyD.
En este sentido, el dirigente de IU ha insistido en que quiere un debate «sereno y frío» sobre el terrorismo, sus causas y posibles soluciones.
Por ello, ha anunciado su adhesión al nuevo manifiesto contra la guerra, que ya ha firmado, y ha asegurado que representantes de IU y de Unidad Popular estarán presentes en la concentración prevista para el próximo sábado en Madrid.
