Rajoy propone un gobierno de amplio espectro con quien defiende la unidad nacional

Español: El presidente del Gobierno en funciones, Mariano Rajoy, ha apostado por la constitución de un ejecutivo encabezado por el PP de amplio apoyo y con estabilidad parlamentaria, conformado entre quienes defienden la unidad de España, la soberanía nacional y la igualdad de los españoles, porque a su juicio responde al resultado electoral del 20 de diciembre y al «interés general» del país.

En una rueda de prensa en La Moncloa tras el último consejo de ministros del año, el presidente no ha dado nombres de a qué partidos se refiere pero la referencia ha sido clara hacia el PSOE y Ciudadanos, puesto que con ellos comparte los asuntos que él considera más importantes para poder acordar: la defensa de la unidad nacional, el papel de España en la UE, la consolidación del crecimiento y la lucha contra el terrorismo.

El presidente ha aclarado que si al final se repiten elecciones generales, algo que no le gusta y le parece una mala solución, él volverá a ser el candidato del PP y que frente a la posibilidad de gobierno «de amplio espectro», Mariano Rajoy no ve «una alternativa mejor»

Para Rajoy, la intención del PSOE de presidir el Congreso de los Diputados y el Gobierno cuando cuenta con 90 de los 350 escaños «no es razonable», y que encabece un Ejecutivo con el respaldo de Podemos, ERC y Democracia y Libertad sería «muy malo para los intereses generales» de los españoles y no generaría estabilidad y confianza.

For Rajoy, the intention of the PSOE to chair the Congress of Deputies and the Government when it has 90 of the 350 seats «is unreasonable» and to head an executive with the support of Podemos, ERC and Democracy and Freedom would be «very bad for the general «interests of Spanish and would not generate stability and confidence.
