El mercado laboral empieza a mostrar síntomas de debilidad tanto en el ritmo de bajada del paro como en el de creación de empleo. Los datos del mes de octubre reflejan una subida del paro por tercer mes consecutivo. El fin de la temporada estival deja casi 37.000 desempleados más hasta dejar el total rozando los 2.760.000. En cuanto al empleo, hay 92.000 nuevos afiliados y elevan el total a los 20.800.000. La contratación en la Enseñanza compensa la pérdida de afiliados en Hostelería o Sanidad.
