🔴Noticia – Manifestación para recordar las muertes en las residencias durante la pandemia

Miles de personas han participado este domingo en una manifestación en Madrid para recordar a los residentes fallecidos durante la primera ola de la pandemia de COVID-19. La protesta ha recorrido el tramo entre Cibeles, sede del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, y la puerta del Sol, donde reside el Gobierno autonómico. Para Marea de Residencias, la inexistencia de un marco legal de carácter estatal, la ausencia de una ley de residencias que garantice una vida digna a las personas institucionalizadas, las privatizaciones efectuadas durante décadas y la venta de los derechos sociales al sector empresarial han creado el caldo de cultivo perfecto para que se diera la tragedia humana conocida por todos que aún continúan haciendo estragos en los centros.

Thousands of people participated this Sunday in a demonstration in Madrid to remember the residents who died during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
