🔴Noticia – Siete detenidos por favorecer la inmigración irregular de argelinos a España

La Guardia Civil, en la denominada operación Emisario, ha desarticulado una organización criminal dedicada a la introducción irregular de argelinos en España y al tráfico de drogas. En total han sido detenidas siete personas y se ha aprehendido 68 kilogramos de metanfetaminas. La operación comenzó a principios de 2023 cuando los investigadores seguían la pista a un ciudadano argelino del cual se sospechaba era el líder de una red delictiva que facilitaba la logística y personal necesario para la introducción irregular de compatriotas a través de las costas de las provincias de Alicante, Murcia y Almería. La organización criminal desmantelada enviaba embarcaciones cargadas de éxtasis y anfetaminas desde España hasta Argelia. Una vez allí, aprovechaban el viaje de regreso para trasportar ciudadanos argelinos a las costas españolas. De esta forma la organización contaba con una doble financiación: las drogas y la inmigración. Estos viajes los llevaban a cabo mediante «pateras taxi»: embarcaciones semirrígidas con motores de gran potencia que utilizaban para trasportar la droga y los migrantes. La red criminal disponía de personas dedicadas a tareas logísticas, facilitando el combustible y la cobertura a los patrones de las lanchas a su llegada a España.

The Civil Guard, in the so-called Emisario operation, has dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to the irregular introduction of Algerians into Spain and drug trafficking. In total, seven people have been arrested and 68 kilograms of methamphetamines have been seized. The operation began in early 2023 when investigators were tracking an Algerian citizen who was suspected of being the leader of a criminal network that facilitated the logistics and personnel necessary for the irregular introduction of compatriots through the coasts of the provinces of Alicante, Murcia and Almería. The dismantled criminal organization sent boats loaded with ecstasy and amphetamines from Spain to Algeria. Once there, they took advantage of the return trip to transport Algerian citizens to the Spanish coasts. In this way the organization had double financing: drugs and immigration. These trips were carried out using «taxi boats»: semi-rigid boats with high-power engines that they used to transport drugs and migrants. The criminal network had people dedicated to logistical tasks, providing fuel and coverage to the boat owners upon their arrival in Spain.
