Las lluvias caídas esta semana en la provincia de Málaga han permitido aliviar la situación de sequía extrema que atraviesan muchos de los pantanos de la provincia. Esta semana, los embalses han recogido más de 18 hectómetros cúbicos, lo que equivale a tres meses de consumo en la capital malagueña y a dos meses en la provincia. Con las precipitaciones que ha traído la borrasca Celia, la presa del Conde del Guadalhorce, en Ardales, ha subido 4 hectómetros, mientras que La Concepción y los embalses Guadalhorce-Guadalteba más de 3. Por su parte, el de La Viñuela, que es el más castigado por la sequía, ha sido el que menos ha incrementado su volumen, subiendo apenas 2 hectómetros. Aún así, con esos 2 hectómetros, el pantano se encuentra a un 15% de su capacidad total. La presa de Guadalteba es la que presenta mejor situación ya que está al 50,4% de su capacidad total. En cuanto al campo, estas lluvias no han sido suficientes y los agricultores y ganaderos reclaman medidas para paliar los efectos de la sequía en sus cultivos. Algunos como el olivar, es uno de los más afectados.
