La nueva ‘ley trans’ aprobada en España permitirá agilizar los trámites y evitar la interminable espera de una decisión judicial. Pero antes de que entrase en vigor, hoy mismo, un juez de Ourense ha autorizado la rectificación del sexo de un niño de ocho años en el registro civil. Primero le ha escuchado y tras hacerlo ha decidido concederle al pequeño su nueva identidad porque, según el juez, Alejandro “tiene madurez de sobra”. Su familia lo pidió en un primer momento, pero otro juez se lo denegó sin ni si quiera escuchar al pequeño. Sus familiares recurrieron. Su madre afirma que “desde pequeño siempre manifestó que era un niño, hablaba en masculino en primera persona”. Tras recurrir la denegación del primer juez, este otro les ha concedido el cambio. Este requerimiento es precisamente lo que retira la nueva ley trans, porque la persona trans no tiene que aportar un informe psiquiátrico que patologiza la transexualidad. María José, la madre de Alejandro, no puede evitar sonreír por un avance enorme y espera que el caso de su hijo sirva para allanar el camino.
