Jorge Ignacio P.J., supuesto asesino de Marta Calvo, Arliene Ramos y Lady Marcela Vargas y de intentarlo con otras ocho mujeres más en el periodo de 15 meses, desde verano de 2018 hasta el 7 de noviembre de 2019, se ha defendido: «Absolutamente no las maté». Y preguntado por si lo intentó, ha respondido: «¿Por qué motivo voy a hacer eso a una mujer o a un ser humano? Va en contra de todos mis principios aunque se me pinte como un monstruo». «Me sentí un desgraciado. Solo quería pasar un buen rato», ha apostillado.
