Faltan pocos días para que el plan de ahorro energético del Gobierno sea de obligado cumplimiento y tras la polémica que despertó la decisión del ejecutivo de limitar el aire acondicionado a 27 grados en restaurantes y comercios, finalmente, la ley podrá flexibilizarse. La noticia la ha dado a conocer este viernes la ministra de Transición Ecológica, Teresa Ribera. De este modo, los bares, restaurantes y comercios podrán poner el aire acondicionado en verano a 25 grados. Hasta ahora, la norma contemplaba excepciones para algunos espacios como discotecas, hospitales, cocinas y gimnasios pero ahora, la hostelería podría sumarse a estas excepciones. El decreto ley ya establecía supuestos en los que la temperatura interior podría flexibilizarse en aquellos casos en los que los trabajadores realicen un ejercicio físico importante.

The news was announced this Friday by the Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera. In this way, bars, restaurants and shops will be able to put the air conditioning at 25 degrees in summer. Until now, the norm contemplated exceptions for some spaces such as nightclubs, hospitals, kitchens and gyms, but now, the hotel industry could be added to these exceptions. The decree law already established assumptions in which the interior temperature could be relaxed in those cases in which the workers carry out significant physical exercise.
