La Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) ha enviado un oficio a los fiscales superiores donde les pide que en un mes le remitan información actualizada sobre el número de investigaciones abiertas por las muertes causadas por la COVID-19 en residencias de mayores, al tiempo que da instrucciones precisas para que los familiares, a los que considera «víctimas indirectas» sean «oídos e informados» en todo momentos.
