La bajada fiscal promovida por la Junta de Andalucía en la región ya está teniendo las primeras consecuencias: falta dinero para acometer importantes infraestucturas en la comunidad. Pocos días después de aprobar la retirada del Impuesto de Patrimonio, que supone recaudar 95 millones de euros menos, el presidente, Juanma Moreno, pidió al Gobierno de España, dinero para realizar obras de urgencia para paliar la sequía. Pues bien, el ejecutivo regional sigue haciendo números para que le salgan las cuentas y ahora se plantea reprogramar los fondos europeos, los llamados Next Generation, para destinarlos a la lucha contra la sequía en la comunidad autónoma. Hablamos de unos 5.000 millones de euros. Pero para ello esa reprogramación tiene que contar primero con el visto bueno de la Unión Europea y, después, con la conformidad del Gobierno de España, que es el que gestiona el reparto de los fondos y el que tendría que decir en última estancia si destina ese dinero para combatir la sequía en Andalucía. Precisamente, el presidente de la Junta, Juanma Moreno, trató este lunes en Bruselas este asunto con el equipo del Comisionado de Medio Ambiente, donde planteó la necesidad de planes específicos para las regiones del sur del Mediterráneo para que parte de los fondos Next Generation se reprogramen para inversiones en agua.
