🔴Noticia – La lava sigue cayendo con fuerza mientras baja la sismicidad y el tremor en La Palma

El color de la nube que se eleva desde el volcán es un indicio prometedor. «Ahora mismo no está emitiendo ceniza», explica el vulcanólogo Rubén López, del Instituto Geográfico Nacional. Del cono principal emana vapor de agua y hay que ir ladera abajo para encontrar una salida visible de lava. Es la que sigue discurriendo por la parte central hasta caer en la plataforma de la antigua fajana del San Juan. Desde tierra se observa también la inercia que sigue la colada, todavía no ha llegado al mar desde esta zona y está provocando daños en los invernaderos y cultivos de la isla baja. Fuera de aquí no se aprecia movimiento en el terreno ganado por el volcán y las mediciones de los científicos constatan una notable disminución del tremor y del número de terremotos. «Ahora mismo, con esta sismicidad, lo que hay que ver es la evolución, y si siguiera así podríamos vislumbrar el final de esta erupción», avanza Rubén López. Es un motivo de esperanza para miles de damnificados que aún tienen su vivienda en zonas de exclusión.
